If your patient holds any TPA card he can avail hassle free Cashless Hospitalization at Dr. Gandhi's Nursing Home Pvt. Ltd.. Dr.Gandhi's Nursing Home Pvt. Ltd. in association with the respective TPA, assists the patient for his Cashless Hospitalization.

What is TPA?
TPA is a "Third Party Administrator" of health insurance policies that "Provides Time bound medical claim and settlement" plus enables cashless hospitalization process at pre-designated healthcare service centers like Dr. Gandhi's Nursing Home Pvt. Ltd. without up-front payment by the insured person. (Subject to policy conditions and necessary authorization from TPA companies)
TPA service is offered by professional and specialized insurance companies that provide an identity card which helps in easy access to medical services by cutting short complicated formalities. The beneficiaries of TPA can avail any form of medical assistance in Dr. Gandhi's Nursing Home Pvt. Ltd. by just flashing a valid identity card in following case scenario:

PROCEDURE FOR PLANNED / ELECTIVE ADMISSION FOR A TPA PATIENT AT DR. GANDHI'S NURSING HOME
1. Enquiry/Pre-Hospitalization -
On showing the TPA card, the patient is given the pre-authorization form to fill for which the mediclaim policy photocopy is a must
Estimate (Pre-authorization) is faxed to the concerned TPA, which comprises of 1)Basic Charges 2)Stay Charges 3)Investigations 4)Medication 5)Other, If any
2. Follow up - with the respective TPA is done by the hospital.
3. Admission - Patient will be called in for admission as per letter of credit (Authorization) given by the TPA.
4. Hospital Stay - Dr.Gandhi's Nursing Home Pvt. Ltd. keeps a track of the patient bill against the letter of credit, if limit of letter of credit is about to exhaust, Dr. Gandhi's Nursing Home Pvt. Ltd. forwards a request for additional amount by sending the "Main bill as per the TPA specification".
5. Discharge -
All original records are sent by the hospital to the respective TPA for reimbursement to the hospital.
PROCEDURE FOR EMERGENCY ADMISSION AT DR.GANDHI'S NURSING HOME
1. Hospital sends emergency hospitalization request form to the respective TPA, for which the mediclaim policy photocopy is a must.
2. Follow up with respective TPA.
3. On receiving the Authority Letter, the patient is given the credit as per given credit limit.
4. If Authority Letter is not received or incase of denial, the patient is treated as a "Cash Patient" & given medical records as per the specification of reimbursement only after complete payment.
